[21:27] <caden> well thats the video driver's config file
[21:27] <k1l_> the desktop needs the .Xauthority file in the users home.
[21:27] <k1l_> and that owner and group needs to be the user.
[21:27] <k1l_> if you fiddel with sudo/root that can make that file be owned by root. and then you get exactly the effect, that you cant login anymore.
