=== BWMerlin1 is now known as BWMerlin [04:03] is there a lubuntu flavor that is security oriented? [14:55] in power manager, I'm using the following: "When laptop lid is closed: Switch off display". I don't know if it's that but the internet cuts out on re-powering the display it seems... wtf [14:56] or cuts out at some point [14:57] Possible that it's not just shutting off the display but puts the system to sleep? === MagikEh_ is now known as MagikEh [14:58] i have most options set to never... such as system sleep mode 'suspend' when inactive for 'never' [14:59] also what's the diff. between blank after, put to sleep after, and switch off after. in the display tab [15:00] :) Google would probably give a more accurate answer than anything I could conjure up [15:01] but "When laptop lid is closed: Switch off display" shouldn't cut the internet right? or put the system to sleep (which would cut the internet) [15:09] oh cool. setting it to "When laptop lid is closed: Lock Screen" didn't lock my screen [15:30] allegorical: If I'm not wrong very much, there is some weird behaviour with power manager. There might be some solutions that you find via some search engine, though. [15:39] alrighty thanks [17:08] Hello, I have some issues with pipelight on Lubuntu. Installation goes through and everything, but pages that requires Microsoft Silverlight still doesn't work. In Firefox under modules is says "application/x-pipelight-error-silverlight5.1 (Error during initialization: pipelighterror-silverlight5.1)" [17:09] I followed these directions http://www.noobslab.com/2014/04/pipelight-silverlight-alternative-for.html [17:11] Running 14.04.3 [17:34] http://pastebin.com/JWXa8YM3 [17:49] Finally found an answer that worked https://answers.launchpad.net/pipelight/+question/251075 post #10 [19:39] Hey, I have a lubuntu install that cannot connect to a wifi network. It sees the network, and I can enter the password, but then it starts the scrolling waiting icon and never connects. [20:19] OneM_Industries: This is just a guess. But it check and see if it has to do with the kind of security the WiFi uses [20:44] Already checked, it uses WPA2 AES. [22:01] I can't seem to get my Logitech A00008 USB Headset to work on LUbuntu 15.10 [22:01] I've run dmesg in term, it recognizes the headset, but there's no output === PresidentPip is now known as Pipton
