| puff | I have a thinkpad t520 running xubuntu 14.04 LTS. A couple years old but relatively gutsy (i7, 32GB RAM). A week ago I started seeing oddly slow performance. This happened to coincide with when I opened up the t520 and blew the dust out of the cooling fan and redid the thermal paste. The machine runs a lot cooler now, but it just seems slow.
