smoserrfolco, you had some questions wrt power and maas ?18:33
rfolcosmoser, yeah. Looks like some boot options are not set by maas to start commissioning on a p8 box18:34
rfolcotimello, ^18:34
timellorfolco, smoser, yeah, actually we are looking for some guide or list of requirements... Is there any specific firmware version, any preparation in the box prior the maas commission18:35
rfolcosmoser, you mentioned you have a p8 box on maas. Any special config to impi/pxe work?18:36
smoserhm..18:38
smoseroh. i dont recall if enlistment works or not.18:39
rfolcotimello, can you give more details on the error ? so the p8 box boots, then falls to petitboot, and maas returns error because it doesn't find an entry to boot from?18:39
smoserlikeley it'd enlist and then you'd have to fill in the power parameters18:39
smoseryou do have to leave the user blank on power818:39
timellosmoser: ipmi works18:40
timellomaas can power on and off18:40
timelloget this though: [ [WARNING] Failed to change the boot order to PXE 9.114.118.83: ERROR: Section post-commit `Chassis_Boot_Flags']18:40
smoseroh. so what is wrong ? i'm sorry.18:40
timellocommission fails18:40

* timello checks18:40
smoserhm..18:40
smoserwell.... 1.9 not so good for power at the moment.18:41
timellosmoser: what would you recomend18:41
smoserhttps://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/152377918:41
smoserthat is completely going to block you on 1.918:41
smoserthat said the error your see is not expected or ignorable18:41
rfolco1.7 then?18:41
smoserpick a 1.8 you should be good.18:41
timelloMAAS Version 1.9.0+bzr4533-0ubuntu1 (trusty1)18:41
rfolcothere you go timello18:42
rfolcosmoser, you da man, thanks!18:42
smoserwell, sorry. i dont know where you can easily get a 1.8 though18:43
smoser:-(18:43
smoserroaksoax-brb, ^ can you advise on that? blake_r_ ?18:43
smoserfwiw, 1.8 does not work with powervm systems.18:43
smoserpowernv or powerkvm should work fine.18:44
smoseryou need 1.9 for powervm but that breaks as descrivbed in that bug above.18:44
smoserits being worked.18:44
rfolcopkvm here18:44
