Tons of hits about this on Google but I dont' find a permanent solution. xubuntu 14.04 64 bit. ideas? [22:26] crickets [22:35] Looks like that issue has been around since 2011-ish https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=98601 [22:44] fwiw the workaround I found for gnome keyring hitting 100% CPU indefinitely when starting Chrome or Chromium was to kill the keyring daemon then delete :~/.local/share/keyrings/Default_keyring.keyring then restart Chromium. The keyring file is recreated Chromium's saved passwords.
