I then used ubuntu live usb and mounted /dev/sda3 as /mnt and then sudo grub-install --boot-directory=/mnt /sda -- Then I noticed sda1 (boot/efi) was not mounting so I had to S(Skip) and then I tried fixing it with deleting the partition but was unable to recreate it.
