=== dax is now known as daxcat [14:03] http://s8.postimg.org/edkq66dit/IMG_20160311_074232.jpg [14:03] anybody know how to fix this [14:04] <3 LXDE <3 ubuntu [14:04] jesuslover: liveboot the machine, run fsck [14:04] !fsck [14:04] fsck is the FileSystem ChecKer, which runs automatically when you boot if you didn't shutdown cleanly. Type "man fsck" for information on running it manually. The command "sudo touch /forcefsck && sudo shutdown -r now" will force a reboot and a filesystem check; "sudo touch /fastboot" will skip a filesystem check at next reboot [14:04] I'm not sure this factoid is true with systemd [14:05] ah wow you folks are awesome thank you [14:05] Well if the above fails, liveboot using your install media, open a terminal and run "sudo fsck /dev/sda1" [14:07] "/bin/sh: man: not found" [14:07] running the "sudo touch..." [14:08] jesuslover: Yes that wont work from the initramfs prompt [14:08] That only works from a running, functional system [14:09] booting into recovery [14:09] Linux 4.2.0-30 [14:14] http://s30.postimg.org/gmp3bkbmp/IMG_20160311_081244.jpg [14:15] that's what I got === daxcat is now known as rwd === rwd is now known as ro === ro is now known as ezri
