pstolowskisil2100, hey, silo 41 is complaining about missing  1.0.3+16.04.20160209-0ubuntu2 changelog entry, but i don't see it in the current src deb; is this a manual change again in the packaging which hasn't landed in distro yet?08:42
sil2100pstolowski: let me check08:44
sil2100pstolowski: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-scopes-api/1.0.3+16.04.20160209-0ubuntu208:44
sil2100pstolowski: doko just poked me about it08:45
sil2100pstolowski: I guess you can override it, as if you release your changes then a no-change rebuild will happen anyway08:45
pstolowskisil2100, uh, ok. so it's enough to just comment on the silo that it's safe to land &override?08:46
pstolowskiah, i need to bump to 0ubuntu2 i guess08:46

jibeldobey, I know, I'm sorry17:22
dobeyand i was told on friday it would be fine and i wouldn't need an FFE; not that everything that does have an FFE will take priority over it17:22
seb128rvr, sil2100, dobey broke it in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~system-settings-touch/ubuntu-system-settings/trunk/revision/1602/po/CMakeLists.txt17:27

ubot5Launchpad bug 1555623 in Canonical System Image ""Flight Mode" and "Rotation Lock" show untranslated" [High,Confirmed]17:28
seb128dobey, seems like ${SETTINGSJSFILE} is empty for some reason17:29

seb128                            ${QMLFILES} ${SETTINGSJSFILE}17:29
seb128files it17:30
dobeythat makes no sense though17:30
seb128dunno, but that's how it is, I just tried17:30
seb128the pot-qml target in https://launchpadlibrarian.net/247981456/buildlog_ubuntu-xenial-armhf.ubuntu-system-settings_0.3+16.04.20160314-0ubuntu1_BUILDING.txt.gz doesn't have the settingsjs17:31
dobeywell in the same merge the pot file clearly still has "Rotation Lock" msgid in it17:31
bfillerrobru: can you please mark this ticket ready for QA? it has manual download urls in it https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/#/ticket/109617:32
robrubfiller: can you not set it?17:32
seb128dobey, I don't know how that was update, but using the current package I can confirm that "make -C obj..../po pot" leads to a template without those strings17:32
seb128dobey, and reverting the cmake change fixes it17:33
seb128my cmake foo is weak though17:33
seb128so no idea how to debug it more17:33
robrubfiller: anyways, set17:33
dobeyi'm looking17:33
seb128dobey, thanks, let me know if you can reproduce17:34
bfillerrobru: no I can't17:34
robruah right17:34
dobeyseb128: ok, i'll try to build trunk here and see what happens17:36
seb128dobey, you don't need a full build, just the initial cmake and make pot17:37
seb128but full build works as well if you like to use you cpu a bit ;-)17:37
rvroSoMoN: Silo 55 approved17:50
dobeyseb128: i know that :)17:50
dobeyseb128: https://code.launchpad.net/~dobey/ubuntu-system-settings/fix-settings-i18n/+merge/28907917:51
seb128sil2100, rvr; ^17:52
seb128dobey, what was wrong? I don't know enough about cmake to understand the change17:52
seb128why did it work at the time you did the change and not anymore?17:52
seb128kenvandine, hey! you have some cmake foo? want to review https://code.launchpad.net/~dobey/ubuntu-system-settings/fix-settings-i18n/+merge/289079 (it's small enough) ? ;-)17:53
dobeyseb128: i think because the settings.js was generated by a custom_command, and as i was making other changes before, i did "make -j8 && make pot" to build and update the pot, which caused the file to exist, but for some reason currently, settings.js doesn't get generated when just running make pot, so the GLOB wasn't finding the file17:54
oSoMoNrvr, awesome, thanks!17:54
seb128dobey, I see, thanks17:54
dobeyseb128: so making it an actual build target, which is depended on, and changing the variable to use RELATIVE_PATH instead of GLOB (since we aren't globbing files anyway) should ensure it's always there for pot-qml17:55
oSoMoNMirv, is https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/#/ticket/1085 ok to publish? can your comments from yesterday be safely ignored now?17:55
seb128dobey, that makes sense17:55

seb128no worry!17:56
