mptogra_, who is “you guys”? If you mean Canonical’s designers, a few of us hang out in #ubuntu-design05:31
stakewinner00I think there are some type of visual bug, instead of showing the text it shows "indicator-rotation-lock" and there are no switch to unlock it.08:09
stakewinner00Also, the alarm now shows "Tomorrow" instea of the text in my language.08:10
=== hjb_ is now known as hjb
hjbhowdy. is there any way to disable the snooze timer on the alarm clock once i hit it?08:13
hjbi yet haven't found one08:14

sil2100stakewinner00: hey! The 'Tomorrow' translation issue is a known bug sadly which we found out about a bit late in the OTA-10 cycle...08:23
sil2100https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-datetime/+bug/156634108:23
ubot5`Launchpad bug 1566341 in indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) "``Tomorrow'' appears untranslated" [Undecided,Confirmed]08:23
stakewinner00sil2100, well, this doesn't matter anyway, the "problem" es that i can not turn on/off rotation, i was searching some related issue now.08:25
sil2100stakewinner00: that one is weird indeed08:25
sil2100stakewinner00: this looks and works fine on my device - what device/channel/image are you using?08:27

sil2100rvr: hey, you saw anything like that during testing? ^08:35
sil2100stakewinner00: is it reproducible on subsequent reboots?08:35
sil2100In my Polish locale things look ok, I get the usual indicator name and the right contents08:36
stakewinner00i don't try to reboot,08:36
stakewinner00lol, now it shows.08:37
sil2100uhh08:39
sil2100Ok, that was strange, not really sure how to explain that08:39
stakewinner00I have not tried to reboot because when installing OTA-10 it reboots automatically.08:39
sil2100Things like that should not happen but well, yeah08:39
hjbnoone with an idea regarding that snooze problem? it's a bit annoying :)08:47
sil2100hjb: hey, sorry I don't use the snooze option so I wouldn't know ;)08:53
stakewinner00This code doesn't seem to handle errors, http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/vivid/indicator-display/vivid/view/head:/src/rotation-lock.cpp#L117 and reading the documentation for gmenu i don't says anything about handling errors.08:54
zzarrI have OTA-10 on my phone now, what have happened to the browser?09:24
zzarrI mean, it's so fast :-D09:24
rvrsil2100: Nope :-/09:38

Acou_Bassquick query guys - do i need a BT keyboard hooked up to my phone to test convergence? ive tried plugging into a monitor, and the screen changes to say its registered as being plugged into a display, but nothing appears on said display11:03
Acou_Bassi was wondering if its a case of 'nothing will happen until you actually attach peripherals' :D11:03
greybackAcou_Bass: unity8 shell should appear on the external display. You just get all black?11:05
Acou_Bassyeah my display says no input detected11:05
greybackAcou_Bass: you using a slimport to hdmi adapter?11:05
Acou_Bassyarr11:05
davmor2Acou_Bass: what phone are you using?11:06
Acou_Bassnexus 4 :D11:06
greybackAcou_Bass: have you connected the additional USB cable to the slimport? It adds power, which slimports sometimes needs to operate properly11:06
Acou_Bassyeah i added that too11:06
greybackAcou_Bass: hmm, I'm not certain what's wrong. Since phone is reporting external display, it must be drawing to it11:07
davmor2and you are using a straight hdmi lead plugged into the slimport right?11:07
Acou_Bassand if i unplug HDMI from TV and leave phone plugged in, it does take power, shows as charging11:08
Acou_Bassdavmor2: the cable i have has HDMI male on one end and micro-USB on the other, so no second cable  attached11:08

lotuspsychjeCaptainHeavy: did you find an ota-10 bug?11:30
CaptainHeavylotuspsychje: I'm filing one for the messaging-app, realised that it originated in that app so I should probably create the report in that context11:31
