[02:27] <flocculant> pfifo: if you did decide to upgrade on the day - it's likely to take some time to grab packages, after waiting for things to propogate, then the upgrade starts and it is 2 am and you miss the call to answer - then wake up and assume all went well and it just hung - and rebooted and you shouldn't have
[02:28] <flocculant> much much better to not panic and wait a day or two - or if you *can* do so early and actually test that the upgrade is working as expected :)
