=== meetingology` is now known as meetingology [17:27] flexiondotorg: following on from what teward said, are the pi3 images on my mirror? [17:28] phillw: i heard they weren't respun... or that the Rpi2 images work on the RPi3 as is [17:28] based on https://ubuntu-mate.org/raspberry-pi/ [17:28] (for MATE at least) [17:28] teward: okies, thanks. I read that there was a bit not working. [17:29] phillw: bluetooth [17:29] "Ubuntu MATE 16.04 has working Bluetooth and Wifi work on the Raspberry Pi 3, but Ubuntu MATE 15.10 only has working Wifi for the Raspberry Pi 3." [17:29] ^ for MATE [17:34] phillw: i'll be testing the Lubuntu images shortly, but the MATE 15.10 image has a bad permission on the /lib folder [17:36] 15.10 Pi2 image works. I have it on my Pi2 :) [17:36] phillw: then it may be just the MATE images [17:36] do you know if there's a tracker for MATE and Lubuntu somewhere? [17:36] so I can file a bug on it [17:36] you'd have to ask flexiondotorg he does them. [17:37] he has write permissions to my mirror site for pi2/3 so that he doesn't have to nag me to do stuff :) [17:46] phillw: ack. [19:18] Evening! Just a quick question - is there a reason why lubuntu-desktop includes fonts-namum and fonts-noto-cjk? It seems that both are not particularly handy unless you specifically need to support those character sets [19:23] gil: cjk has to be there else the image does not have it in live-cd mode nor upon initial installation. We have a large fan base in asia :) [19:24] i don't know of namum [19:24] Ahha yeah that totally makes sense [19:24] phillw namum is another asian font set [19:24] well, that is why it is there :) [19:25] That's a good explanation, thanks! [19:25] I only noticed them this morning when I saw the size of them. I think they're bigger than the kernel :D === MrBIOS_ is now known as MrBIOS [22:41] wxl: do you know if Julien triggered a respin after he removed the lang-packs from alternate? If not would you please do so in order to see if they are now cd sized. Thanks.
