[09:36] <qwebirc39403> I installed Mythbuntu 16.04 yesterday, and all worked OK.  24 hours after initial install, I did an apt upgrade and following that upgrade, both the frontend and the backend are unable to connect to the mysql server.  A check of /var/log/syslog shows that mysql is failing to start.  I attempted to fix the problem and found that mysql-server was broken, and apt-get -f install was unable to resolve the problem.  Is anyone
