[15:02] <plars> brendand: we are currently on 1.8.0+bzr4001-0ubuntu2~trusty1 from the stable ppa (previously recommended to work around other issues which I can't recall right now)
[15:03] <plars> brendand: there's updates available, but I'm not sure I want to just update in hopes that it might solve something, or might break other things

[15:03] <brendand> so definitely wasn't suggesting that as a fix
