It is audio in there, but also an awful melody somebody chose to merge with the original conversation, so now you hear the conversation plus the music I dont want. all audio is joint together, mkvtoolnik just list one audio file. How can I edit the audio stream and get rid of the music? [10:27] if your audio source files are truly merged, you MIGHT be able to extract some of the junk with audacity. [10:36] if mkvtoolnik just list one audio strem, it is "really" merged... correct? cfhowlett [10:37] possibly. never used mkvtoolnik. open audacity, import the video and read the display [10:57] sadly output quality is worse, but the conversation is clearer, much clearer, altohugh there is still some background crap I still need to pound out [11:00] why cant I save the project? [11:05] lerner: Saving a project in audacity means that - saving a project. If you want to produce an audio file, you need to export to one [11:08] hwo is it possible that the edited audio file is 190MB?? [11:08] audio + video are now double the size [11:08] of the original file [11:12] lerner: Depends on the format you chose. Probably the original audio file was a compressed format, but you exported it as something else? [11:13] The quality will never improve, not matter which format you choose. It can either be the same, or become worse (with lossy formats, like ogg and mp3) [11:14] You can't export to video from audacity [11:14] (AFAIK) [20:19] i have a vague memory of a setting in ubuntustudio controls, for setting proper permissions to IEEE1394 (firewire) for DV-capture. do that still exist? === erick is now known as Guest18510 [20:42] Hi, how do you disable "Alt-Left Mouse Click to Move" in Ubuntu Studio 16.04? [20:43] Guest18510: go to settings manager [20:43] I tried "Window Manager" and the "Focus" tab, but it is not there. [20:43] Guest18510: find the "settings editor" [20:44] in one of the side tabs, you can find a field with "alt" in it.. [20:44] can't find it just now... [20:44] because i removed it [20:44] Okay. [20:45] I was thinking of "Keyboard" tab, not the "Focus" tab... [20:45] I missed type. [20:45] i bleieve it is one of th xfce4- ones... [20:45] still searching... [20:46] Oh "Setting Editor"? [20:46] xfwm4 [20:46] you will find one entry called "easy_click" [20:46] yes, "settings editor" [20:47] just empty the field of "easy_click". that is remove "Alt" [20:47] Guest18510 ^ [20:48] Got it.
