Guest44353Anyone up late and looking to lend me a hand, I have been fighting with this for 2 days and at this point I'm not getting any further. Cloud-init, cloud-config AWS EC2 using #include with a file:/// directive, using a multipart setup, so that I can grab/build my #cloud-config file and load it locally on the server, and then have the cloud-init take it and run with it.  I've gotten further with it, but as of now cloud-init never04:35
Guest44353 finishes and thus I am locked out of the instance I'm trying to create.04:35

Guest44353Failed to start Initial cloud-init job, interesting that seems like something what was fixed in (LP: #1432758) yet I just hit it.. Guess i can break anything if I try hard enough.04:59

tmblueokay maybe this one someone can answer, while I continue banging my head, is there a clean way to run cloud-init via the command line on an instance pointed at the multipart created file to see what it does? And then clean up after it and try it again05:12
