Cloud-init, cloud-config AWS EC2 using #include with a file:/// directive, using a multipart setup, so that I can grab/build my #cloud-config file and load it locally on the server, and then have the cloud-init take it and run with it. I've gotten further with it, but as of now cloud-init never [04:35] finishes and thus I am locked out of the instance I'm trying to create. [04:36] https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=720556򯺬 for any further information on what I've tried and where I am at [04:59] Failed to start Initial cloud-init job, interesting that seems like something what was fixed in (LP: #1432758) yet I just hit it.. Guess i can break anything if I try hard enough. === Guest44353 is now known as tmblue [04:59] bah [05:05] ahh CentOS 7 is running 0.7.5 this was fixed in 0.7.7,, I'll take a look at see what CentOS 7 has in their repo's, ahh 0.7.5 w0w, almost a year later.. [05:12] okay maybe this one someone can answer, while I continue banging my head, is there a clean way to run cloud-init via the command line on an instance pointed at the multipart created file to see what it does? And then clean up after it and try it again
