[18:07] Hey there, I'm having an issue updating the nvidia driver using the graphics driver ppa [18:07] Here is the output of apt-get [18:07] https://gist.github.com/LMG/8c323e0a7a2999b8cffcb76b56cdf772#file-gistfile1-txt-L4 [18:10] http://askubuntu.com/questions/783093/cannot-remove-nvidia-opencl-icd-367 [18:10] I was able to find this [18:12] I did try that before I think, I'll re-read it carefully to make sure I didn't skip any steps but I'm sure stopping gdm didn't do anything [18:12] I even tried starting in the mode where only apt runs, forgot the name [18:13] sudo touch /lib/systemd/system/var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount && sudo systemctl daemon-reload before attempting to repeat the upgrade. After the upgrade is complete, run sudo touch /lib/systemd/system/var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount to clean up. [18:16] ... Yep just saw that when re-reading it [18:16] I must have been tired [18:16] Thanks for the help :) [18:16] well, I'll try to reboot in 367 now. Here's hoping I don't have to come back ! [18:16] Cheers [18:18] he should also make sure to have snapd 2.0.7, that has the fix for the mountpoint issue [18:18] (or bigger than 2.0.7) [18:19] oh ... [18:19] * ogra_ just notices that that hasnt made it out of proposed yet
