BubaHi, anyone here?07:11
sakrecoerhi Buba, just ask your question and if anyone knows how to reply , they will :)07:58
BubaThanks! I'm reading a bit more before I ask08:05
BubaIs this channel only used for troubleshooting?08:05
BubaI didn't find the answer anywhere :(08:15
BubaI just installed UbuntuS and I haven't been an Ubuntu/Linux user for that long. I'm using a TV through HDMI. On Ubuntu, it runs fine both video and audio, but on UbuntuS video is ok but I haven't manage to make the audio work.08:16
BubaAt the beginning I thought it was the Jack/PulseAudio. Jack server wasn't even online. So I got Cadence, forced restart on Jack server and set my hdmi output as the output device08:18
sakrecoerBuba: TV... you mean, as a display right?08:19
BubaI use my tv for both display and audio08:20
sakrecoeryou see the litle icon in the taskbar of the desktop, its shaped like a speaker.08:20
BubaSUre08:20

BubaYea08:20
BubaI've been there08:20
BubaCan't find it on output devices though08:20
BubaOnly Speakrs and Headphones (not connected)08:21
BubaFor some reason the Device appears on Cadence but not on Sound Settings08:21
sakrecoeryou mean only "built in audio analogue stereo"?08:21

BubaWHen I tried to install pulseaudio-module-jack, it said I already had, and also reported that I no longer needed some stuff08:24
BubaSuch as linux headers08:25
BubaAt the beginning I set to remove, but then it showed it was 220MB and I gave up08:25
BubaLe me try again so I cans see the msg08:25
sakrecoerthat is probably becuase you upgraded your system to the latest kernel, then the old kernel stuff becomes unecessary08:25
BubaHmm probably08:26
sakrecoeryou shold be safe doing "sudo apt-get autoremove" when you get that message.08:26
