[01:58] I want to run the Gnome flashback session in Ubuntustudio instead of xfce. I have installed "gnome-flashback", "gnome-flashback-common", and "gnome-session-flashback" but Ubuntu Studio doesn't give me the option to login using gnome instead of XFCE. On Ubuntu desktop, when you log out, a drop-down appears next to the user name so I can choose which desktop environment to use. Ubuntustudio doesn't seem to have [02:00] Seen to have...? [02:01] "seem" [02:01] doesn't appear to have this drop-down [02:02] *seem ;) [02:02] Hmm [02:02] Canaan you take a screenshot of the login screen? [02:02] *can [02:03] I guess I will have to do that with my camera [02:03] I will be back [02:03] You are logged out, not just switching user, right? [02:03] Yes I logged out. But I am currently logged in so I will disappear while I log out. Should only be gone a few minutes [02:04] Ok [02:08] Glorfindel: [Smack's head]! I was just looking to see if I should zoom my camera out to include everything at the edge of the screen and noticed the dropdown at the top of the screen, rather than next to the username where I was expecting it to be. So your suggestion of a screenshot actually helped me solve the problem. [02:09] :) [02:09] Glad you figured it out :D [02:10] Feel like a fool! [16:20] hello, i am new user ubuntu studio!!, what a channerl irc in spanish? [16:21] !es | studio-user532 [16:21] studio-user532: En la mayoría de los canales de Ubuntu, se habla sólo en inglés. [16:24] ok, thanks!! === okay is now known as fiab9000 [21:40] Running latest Ubuntu Studio as guest machine via Oracle VM VirtualBox on winodows 10 host -- problem with audio production, no audio heard, other non-audio production apps do make sound, though.
