i915curious is if my HDD has a ext4 linux filesytem installed and i build a linux kernel from scratch to replace the old one with the ext4 file system driver as a built in not as a [M] can i just tell grub to uses this kernel without specifying a initrd ram disk or init paramters ?05:08
i915Way i figure it is if the ext4 driver is built in grub boots it and the kernel has the ability to mount./find the init process right or am i missing something?05:09
