[08:48] <blargh> it seems like the cpu frequency-scaling doesn't work completely well
[08:48] <blargh> even though it did in the previous version
[08:49] <blargh> when I allow the cpu the choose everything between minimum and maximum frequency, it selects the highest frequency 90% of the time
[08:49] <blargh> it drops to minimum frequency occasionally
[08:50] <blargh> but htop shows that there is practically no system load
[08:50] <blargh> I'm guessing that the intel_pstate driver was broken in some way
[08:50] <blargh> but I can't figure out who to address my issue to
