Remove the HDD. Boot the machine withOUT the BIOS/CMOS battery - force it into BIOS setup. Save the BIOS setup. Power off. Replace the HDD. Do the same. That might wake it up. If it were here in my place, I have a "cradle" that I use for removing HDD's from laptops and I mount them as externals...saves time and money...
