[18:05] <solartech> I’m curious, did anyone else experience issues with booting Ubuntu 16.04 right after shutting down recently?  I did not update software myself, but two machines of different types stopped booting for me yesterday with the same OS (Ubuntu GNOME 16.04).
[18:06] <solartech> Booting to a previous kernel gives the same result.  It’s as if GDM is failing to start but the logs don’t appear to be there (dmesg shows nothing)
[18:07] <solartech> Two completely different machines as well (macbook pro retina & desktop pc), no software installed on either one unless an update was installed while I restarted
