I've resurrected it (pending publication). [10:51] ricotz: (FWIW, in future, this is an Ubuntu archive admin question rather than a Launchpad question - the root cause is a hard-to-fix Launchpad bug, but it's reasonably well-known among Ubuntu archive admins) [10:57] cjwatson: quick question, where do I request features for the snap build support in launchpad the best way? [10:58] morphis: bug reports against Launchpad itself [10:58] one per logical issue as usual [10:58] cjwatson: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad ? [10:58] yes [11:00] thanks [11:02] cjwatson, thanks and noted! :) === JanC is now known as Guest73215 === pavlushka is now known as Guest11248 === signed8bit is now known as signed8bit_Zzz [23:10] Why have my armhf and arm64 snap builders been waiting all day to build? [23:10] And when I say all day, I only mean like 4 hours. But still [23:48] kyrofa: Do you have a link to the build? [23:48] wgrant, https://code.launchpad.net/~kyrofa/+snap/nextcloud-candidate/+build/4147 [23:51] wgrant, hello, by the way! What time is it there? [23:52] wgrant, huh, a half-way decent time, it seems! Now that I've switched time-zones we overlap a little, how nice :) [23:52] kyrofa: Yeah, it's like 10am! [23:52] kyrofa: I think you're stuck behind a whole lot of build retries in the primary archive. [23:52] It's a bit odd. [23:52] We're currently running with a little less arm64 capacity than we'd like, but we're trying to get new hardware to fix that. [23:53] Oh, interesting. Same package? Or a ton of packages? [23:53] More moonshots? [23:53] All sorts of packages. [23:53] That's the current plan. [23:53] Huh, okay. Well thanks for the info! As long as there's no real problem, I'm fine waiting :) [23:54] Huh, did you just cancel the build? [23:54] I bumped its sore and now it's gone :P [23:54] score [23:55] wgrant, haha, you're so nice, yeah I decided to just skip the candidate channel and release like a boss [23:56] amd64 built and I was able to test, so I didn't really need to wait for those. If the release takes a little extra time to build it's not a big deal [23:57] wgrant, while I've got you though, can you explain the technical details behind the auto-rebuild? The info text is a little vague-- does it only check for new changes every hour? [23:57] Not rebuild, sorry-- auto build [23:59] kyrofa: If a snap's branch changes, a build will be triggered within 20 minutes, but at most once an hour.
