apricotI wanna install Ubuntu Touch on my device: Nexus-7 2013 LTE (Android 6.0.1 / BuildNr.MOB30P). I'm confused about all the different informations. There is a MultoROM-Manager, there are some Installation-Builds on Ubuntu-Touch website. Where to get reliable information - maybe 'step-by-step' (for dummies like me*g*)?14:15
dobeyapricot: do you want dual boot, or just ubuntu?14:21
apricotif it will work with just Ubuntu, its ok14:22
apricotI don't need Android on that device14:22
dobeyapricot: ubports.com14:22
apricotthanks :)14:22
apricotdobey: Nexus-7 is supported to 90% -- " ... devices that are not yet ready to use daily, due to missing important functions". Then it does not make sense to use only 'Touch' on the device14:27
dobeyapricot: that depends on whether you need the few features which are missing or not14:33
dobeygranted, it also depends on what apps you need to use daily on the device. you can't run android apps on ubuntu14:34
apricotright - it's bluetooth. I use it with headset in thw car14:35
apricotbut will this work with 'MultiROM-Manager'?14:35
dobeyi don't know if multirom will install from ubports or not14:35
apricotok14:36
dobeyyou can certainly try it14:36
