=== maclin1 is now known as maclin [09:26] hi folks. if i were to prepare an SRU for the cmake package with https://gitlab.kitware.com/ben.boeckel/cmake/commit/f6c5958047ee8a9084bf230a6c1acb4801cb2b93 , do you think it would be accepted..? [09:26] it fixes https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmake/cmake/issues/16049 (original Mantis report: https://cmake.org/Bug/view.php?id=16049) [09:27] the problem is that when using AUTORCC in a CMake project, the qrc_*.cpp.o target will always be considered out-of-date, leading to a re-link despite no changes. [09:27] (kind of defeats one of the strengths of Ninja, it's fast no-op build time :/) [09:28] the fix seems non-invasive and self-contained. [09:43] or would it be better to simply request an SRU to update cmake to 3.5.2, which includes the fix, in xenial (already in yakkety)? [09:55] i started by filing a bug report at least: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cmake/+bug/1624832 [09:55] Ubuntu bug 1624832 in cmake (Ubuntu) "AUTORCC-generated resources always out-of-date with Ninja" [Undecided,New] [10:18] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: i8c [amd64] (yakkety-proposed/universe) [0.0.3-3] (no packageset) [10:30] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New: accepted i8c [amd64] (yakkety-proposed) [0.0.3-3] [18:53] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: gdb [i386] (yakkety-proposed/main) [7.11.90.20160917-0ubuntu2] (core) [19:01] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New: accepted gdb [i386] (yakkety-proposed) [7.11.90.20160917-0ubuntu2] [19:10] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: gdb [powerpc] (yakkety-proposed/main) [7.11.90.20160917-0ubuntu2] (core) [19:11] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New: accepted gdb [powerpc] (yakkety-proposed) [7.11.90.20160917-0ubuntu2] === med_ is now known as Guest14517 === s8321414_ is now known as s8321414
