Works perfectly with "arecord -f S16_LE -c 2 -r 48000 -D hw:1,0 -d 20 test.wav" but audacity doesnt seem to care about the sample rate, if i set the project rate at 96000hz it records without complaint were arecord just [21:51] gives unsuported format error. [21:54] when i run paman (PulseAudio Manager) it says sample rate s16le 41000hz [21:55] i just want to be sure im getting the best i can out of the unit [21:59] hi friend909, not many people arround right now... [21:59] you could try ask in #opensourcemusicians [21:59] i personaly use jack for all those settins, and rarely record in audacity. [22:07] hi yeah i see that think it might be easyer just to use arecord i just need a goo vu meter to set the levels [22:37] quale ubuntu devo selezionare alla boot di partenza: ubuntu o ubuntu(lawfrequency)? [22:42] anyone know of a good vu meter with peak [22:45] preferably in the ubuntu studio repositry [22:56] friend909: The only one I have used is JACK Meterbridge. http://plugin.org.uk/meterbridge/ [22:56] It is fairly configurable. [22:57] I know there are more out there but I can't remember the names. Meterbridge comes with Ubuntu Studio I believe.
