[00:18] Bug #1633209 changed: Daily Images appear to have broken for xgene-uboot === jgrassle1 is now known as jgrassler === jamespag` is now known as jamespage === arturt___ is now known as arturt [17:03] Hi all I had maas deployed on orange box [17:03] but I did upgrade [17:03] then all is messed up [17:03] when I try to install something related to maas [17:03] it ask for dependencies [17:03] so how to solve the issue [17:04] mah_, can you give details on the versions and what exactly fails [17:04] e.g. what OS version, which maas version, which command you are running and what the output is [17:04] I thought i have maas 1.7 [17:05] and when I did upgrade [17:05] and I figure out then a problem when connecting to maas url [17:05] connection refused [17:05] so I removed maas [17:05] and trying to install it again [17:05] but the dependencies show 1.9 version [17:06] so I guess that the upgrade is reason for that [17:06] mah_, yes. 1.9 is the supported version in trusty [17:06] maas : Depends: maas-region-controller (= 1.9.4+bzr4592-0ubuntu1~14.04.1) but it is not going to be installed Depends: python-django-maas (= 1.9.4+bzr4592-0ubuntu1~14.04.1) but it is not going to be installed [17:07] so why that message appears [17:07] when I tried to install maas [17:07] you might need to e.g. do an apt-get update [17:07] and upgrade the system [17:08] I did that [17:09] but also the same problem [17:10] what if you do apt-get -f install? [17:10] E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. [17:10] that should try and fix any issues [17:10] apt-get -f install works ok [17:11] this is the error I got when install maas [17:11] The following packages have unmet dependencies. maas : Depends: maas-region-controller (= 1.9.4+bzr4592-0ubuntu1~14.04.1) but it is not going to be installed Depends: python-django-maas (= 1.9.4+bzr4592-0ubuntu1~14.04.1) but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. [17:13] you might have to incrementally try to install each package and see what the root cause is [17:14] so try to install python-django-maas, see what the problem is with that [18:24] Good afternoon. I just installed MAAS Region Controller from DVD into a VM. The install seemed to go fine, except trying to access "Nodes" and "Networks" from the web UI return "failed to detect a valid IP address from -1." [18:24] Any pointers as to what'e causing this? [19:03] Anyone? [20:19] Wow - thanks for the help! You may go back to sleep now. [23:37] Bug #1635061 opened: [2.1] Event log "load 30 more days" button is for loading 1 additional day
