kb9vqfwgrant: After rebooting our production Launchpad instance to apply dirty COW fixes Launchpad won't start02:32
kb9vqfstopping services on exception Exception('Timeout waiting for txlongpoll to start.',)02:32
kb9vqfnever seen this before, any ideas?02:33
kb9vqfI forced the production instance back online by disabling txlongpoll entirely in the startup script.  From what I understand, it's some kind of Internet download interface so _maybe_ we won't miss it?  Still would like to know why it failed after a simple reboot03:04
wgrantkb9vqf: I'm not sure why it would fail to start, but it's not used by any production features so it's fine to turn off.05:40
kb9vqfwgrant: Great, thanks!  Had a bit of a panic moment when it wouldn't start and a lead developer on one of the projects needed to get release builds uploaded....05:41
kb9vqfI think there are a couple other logs on the Internet showing the same failure but in those cases retrying it fixed the problem.  This was quite persistent across multiple machine reboots, etc.05:42
kb9vqfthe process itself was running, but the diagnostics were useless\05:42
