Failed to connect to "system" message bus: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: no such file or directory  so here in the script is this  service dbus start apt-get -f install dpkg --configure -a ##Here I stop the script from running meta aka installing Mate desktop #apt-get -y install ${RECOMMENDS} ${META}^ service dbus stop  but as you see i # the Meta packages.. and 100 lines down i added
