(We can't see the FM tower from the station, so we shoot both the AM and FM feeds to the AM tower, and then there's a receiver + transmitter hooked up at the AM tower that thnn sends the FM to Charleston.)

[04:33] <[Ubik]> I had one of my guys kill the 900MHz transmitter at the studio and bam...completely silent, quiet, dead air... no squeal..  but if he pauses the playing song normally, you hear it... so it's that link.
[04:33] <[Ubik]> Our engineer figured out he could work around the problem by switching from stereo to mono... so on the air we're in mono now...  stream is still 192Kbps MP3 stereo though.
