[15:11] should I be triple landing still? [15:11] if so, I guess I need to split the silo.. [15:11] (also, I did the version number bump you asked for) [15:13] pete-woods, we're still triple-landing, for as long as it doesn't add work [15:14] Saviq: okay, will split the silo up when I actually try landing for real then [15:14] pete-woods, we could land these for you in one of our silos if you'd like [15:14] Saviq: that would also be great [15:14] they should be pretty inoffensive changes [15:15] pete-woods, get them reviewed and we'll land in whatever silo is going to be our next [15:15] Saviq: sounds great [15:15] Saviq: do you know who I should bug for review on u-s-c? [15:15] it's not clear quite who owns that one [15:16] Trevinho, can you grab https://code.launchpad.net/~pete-woods/ubuntu-settings-components/add-ethernet-item/+merge/311503 please? [15:16] thanks! [15:16] there's a corresponding unity8 MP that you could do, too === alecu is now known as not-alex-abreu === not-alex-abreu is now known as __alecu__ === dandrader is now known as dandrader|afk === dandrader|afk is now known as dandrader === boiko_ is now known as boiko [19:24] Hello! I've got a problem related to moving windows around and keypresses/shortcuts and the like, am I at the right place to get some help with that? [20:16] SashKhe, if you want to talk about unity or unity8, the Ubuntu Desktop Environments, yes this is the right place [20:20] I was messing around in unity/compiz settings, trying to disable the ALT+Button 1 windows drag option. I managed to do that, but now I can't press two keys at once unless ALT is also pressed. Googling only brings up "it's a hardware problem" which is obviously not the case, as it has been working before and I'm on a desktop. Do you have any pointers as to what I could've messed up? [20:21] I tried undoing my changes but that didn't work. [21:37] It works when pressing shift, also... [22:20] SashKhe, sorry, doesn't ring a bell, one thing to try is resetting the compiz settings, they're in dconf under /org/compiz/profiles [22:23] http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2014/04/reset-unity-and-compiz-settings-in-ubuntu-14-04/ could help, too [23:11] If I simply misclicked something, this will solve all my problems! Crossing my fingers [23:20] Reporting back: Apparently the problem was not caused by unity/compiz settings, as it still persists. Thank you for the link in any case, it'll be very useful if I run into a problem like that, next time
