[22:04] <Bashing-om> daftykins: Yepper ! spinners on a seperate buss seems to be the trick . So far no ATA errors amd the spinners are not spazzing out . ( no unmount remount crazinness ) .
[22:08] <Bashing-om> daftykins: Several hours effort to restore the superblocks . finally zero'n out the sector allowed to spare the superblock(s) off . File system checks run clean !

[22:15] <Bashing-om> That is what I finally did ' dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdxx bs=4096 count=1 seek=0 ' <- remapp the sector :) When all else had failed .
