sfeoleperhaps someone here can tell me if this is actually a bug? https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju/+bug/165502013:43
mupBug #1655020: Newly Built Charm, "Vanilla" Fails to install, when following "Charm Build Getting Started Guide" <juju:New> <https://launchpad.net/bugs/1655020>13:43
sfeoleI just filed it, going through the proper channels. Just need a sanity check at this point :)13:44

Zichello here, do you know how to build a Kubernetes cluster with Juju but with multi-master HA? because the Juju charms demonstrated for Canonical Kubernetes just build a cluster with one master15:10
marcoceppi_Zic: you should be able to take the bundle and add more units to master. I think there's a few gotchyas that are being ironed out though15:16
marcoceppi_Zic: I can give you a bundle with multi-master if you'd like to try15:16
Zicoh thanks, I'm interested15:18
marcoceppi_Zic: Give me a few mins15:25
marcoceppi_Zic: If you download http://paste.ubuntu.com/23770746/ and save it as something like ha-k8s.yaml, you can do `juju deploy ./ha-k8s.yaml` it's experimental, but if you hit any bugs please report them here https://github.com/juju-solutions/bundle-canonical-kubernetes15:27
Zicthanks, I will take a look15:28

vmorristrying to bootstrap a controller on localhost LXD while on a private network (squid proxy and dns forwarder in use)... using a custom lxd bridge and dnsmasq instance17:52
vmorrishttp://paste.ubuntu.com/23771485/17:53
vmorrisi can't understand why jujud would be connecting to 10.20.123.254:8443/1.0 (this is the default gateway passed in through dnsmasq)17:54

SimonKLBtrying to setup juju on maas but im stuck with: ERROR failed to bootstrap model: waited for 20m0s without getting any addresses18:21
SimonKLBhowever, sshing to the maas node works fine18:21
SimonKLBany ideas?18:21
sfeoleSimonKLB, i just happened to click into this Channel and saw your message. When you issue the $juju bootstrap --debug <cloud> <controllername> do you see a node in MAAS becoming allocated and deploying?18:31
sfeoleSimonKLB, are you using --debug flag with bootstrap?18:32
SimonKLBsfeole: yes, the maas node is started when im executing juju bootstrap18:39
sfeoleSimonKLB, mmmm, once the MAAS node is deployed is it in fact accessible via the network after MAAS deploys it?   Do you have access to watch the logs in /var/log/juju or /var/log/cloud-init to see if in fact the node is actually coming up fully?18:42
sfeoleSimonKLB, also, perhaps check you're not setting http_proxy or similar in your terminal..18:43
sfeoleSimonKLB, usually when I ran into the problem you18:43
sfeoleSimonKLB, you're mentioning, it's usually a problem with the MAAS host18:43
SimonKLBsfeole: cloud-init logs are available but nothing juju related from the looks of it18:46
SimonKLBsfeole: no obvious errors in the cloud-init logs18:46
sfeoleSimonKLB, the Node actually reached the "Deployed" state in MAAS?18:46
SimonKLBsfeole: yep!18:47
sfeoleSimonKLB, hmm18:47
SimonKLBit started off with a normal interface, but then created a br-eth0 and added the ip to that bridge instead of the physical nic18:47
SimonKLBis that the expected behaviour?18:48
sfeoleSimonKLB, yes, it creates a bridge device by default18:48
sfeoleSimonKLB, could you post the juju bootstrap --debug output in pastebin?18:48
SimonKLBsfeole: sure one sec18:49
SimonKLBsfeole: http://paste.ubuntu.com/23771843/18:51

vmorrisbeisner: I have the this paste showing a localhost+lxd bootstrap failure.. it nearly completes and then craps out at the end...20:24
vmorrishttp://paste.ubuntu.com/23772244/20:24
vmorrisbeisner: I think it's when it tries to connect to http://unix.socket/1.0/containers/juju-94a8f2-0/state20:25
vmorrisbeisner: but i see on my http proxy that it's actually trying to connect to 10.20.123.254 (the default gateway), which gets denied20:26
vmorrisi have no idea what to tune or even where to dig in for more information... i couldn't really see anything in /var/log/lxd20:26

vmorrislol was that just good timing or what?20:39
vmorrisoh i thought that was somebody doing the triage in real time20:40

sfeoleSimonKLB, sorry i got pulled away from meetings. How about the juju logs on the bootstrap node, since you have access?21:22
bdxhey whats up everyone? is there a `--force` type arg for 'destroy-model'?23:33
bdxI'm just getting "Waiting on model to be removed..." for days23:35
