fossfreedom__Hi all - project lead of Ubuntu Budgie here - battling with a ubiquity issue - but I noticed in the syslog trace what looks like a zesty kernel crash - can someone have a quick look and advise please? https://launchpadlibrarian.net/301822678/UbiquitySyslog.txt (scroll down a couple of pages) - for bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/165511910:01

smbfossfreedom__, That is just a warning (as it says). Appears to point out a bios/setup problem for declaring the same xsave features for each core. Seems to go on ok and the set that gets used sounds sane. Don't think that is causing the problems you have.10:36
smbRather the many "permission denied" ones later when trying to access the filesystem10:36
fossfreedom__smb: thanks for the clarification.  I'm rather clutching at straws as you can gather.  I don't understand why there are permissions issues.  cheers for the reply.10:46
smbfossfreedom__, yw. a lot of the log looks a bit like stuff was not run as root...10:47
