=== chihchun_afk is now known as chihchun [01:52] Any ideas on why this git build is failing? https://launchpadlibrarian.net/303164539/buildlog.txt.gz [03:04] cjwatson: libtorrent-rasterbar> Apologies, looking back on it after being away for a week, it probably wasn't the right thing to say. I won't do it again, sorry. [06:13] I'm trying to use this branch in a recipe: https://code.launchpad.net/~crass/+git/packaging/+ref/codecrypt.daily-packaging, but launchpad keeps saying its not a branch on launchpad. I've tried both lp:~crass/+git/packaging and https://git.launchpad.net/~crass/+git/packaging. What am I missing or is this a bug? [06:27] crass: Which recipe? [06:28] wgrant: https://code.launchpad.net/~crass/+recipe/codecrypt-daily [06:28] the code won't even save, so you'll see the wrong nest-part line [06:29] crass: You're running into https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/1623924. [06:29] Ubuntu bug 1623924 in Launchpad itself "Source package recipes prefer Bazaar when lp:$foo alias is VCS-ambiguous" [High,Triaged] [06:30] crass: Because lp:codecrypt is configured for both Bazaar and Git, the recipe is still assuming that the lp:codecrypt reference is to the Bazaar branch, so the Git repository that you explicitly referenced is invalid. [06:31] The workaround described in the bug is probably appropriate for your case here; you probably don't need lp:codecrypt to work for Bazaar any more, so you can remove that alias. [06:32] the error its giving me is about the packing repo in the nest-part line not the lp:codecrypt line. You're still saying its the 2nd line? [06:32] crass: A recipe must be either entirely bzr or git. Since lp:codecrypt is ambiguous, due to the bug I mentioned it's resolving to the bzr branch, so when it tries to look up the second line it tries to find a matching bzr branch and fails. [06:33] If you remove the lp:codecrypt bzr alias, it will resolve to git and so the whole recipe will be git and it will be fine. [06:33] ok, I'll try that real quick [06:37] wgrant: still getting "lp:~crass/+git/packaging is not a branch on Launchpad." [06:39] crass: You may have to create a fresh recipe after all -- it still might not like to switch the recipe's type. [06:41] did create a new one, but had a bug in it. Now its accepting it... lets see if it builds :) [06:41] Great. === maclin1 is now known as maclin [11:12] git recipe libtorrent-daily uses {latest-tag}, but 0.13.4 is being substituted, not 0.13.6 as can be verified by looking at the tag dates. [16:52] teward: you can probably post some links and they'll get to it when they come back [16:54] yeah but that's about equal to spreading the spam :P [17:08] teward: I'm here briefly, but also allergic to requests for "anyone here to help" without details [17:13] cjwatson: my git recipe libtorrent-daily uses {latest-tag}, but 0.13.4 is being substituted, not 0.13.6 as can be verified by looking at the tag dates. Am I missing something here? (https://code.launchpad.net/~crass/+recipe/libtorrent-daily) [17:14] crass: Can't look today, sorry, on leave [17:14] oh, no problem, I misinterpreted your comment above [17:14] You can poke about in git-build-recipe if you want to investigate - LatestTagVariable does that job IIRC [17:15] ok, thanks [17:29] yay for flaky internet [17:29] cjwatson: if you're still around, https://answers.launchpad.net/teward-ppas/+question/444988 needs nuked (spam) [17:50] teward: Done. (Please don't comment on spam questions, it can confuse things) [20:37] are ppa dependencies only build dependencies? I'd like a mechanism where dependent ppas get packages automatically added to the ppa. Can this be done? [20:55] IS it busted? [20:56] https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1655483 didn't load for me [20:56] Ubuntu bug 1655483 in Inkscape "Inkscape 0.92 line space problem with text of Inkscape 0.91" [Undecided,New] [20:57] looks like it loads fine. and the bot got it via the api. did you get a timeout error? [20:57] they happen sometimes and usually waiting a minute and reloading will get it loaded [22:39] Question [22:39] How do I change my e-mail address? [22:41] dobey: How do I change my email address for Launchpad? [23:02] ShakespeareFan00: go to the user page in launchpad and under the email section click "Change email settings" === salem_ is now known as _salem
