[13:47] <ducasse> lordievader: i've had no problems with it, but that probably depends on where you are - i'm in norway.
[13:49] <lordievader> Holland here, guess I'll see how far I get with it next week.
[13:52] <ducasse> when i've returned disks it has usually been because they failed while under the normal guarantees given by law, so i've gotten replacements from where i bought them. once or twice was under wd warranty, and that just worked.
[13:56] <lordievader> This disk has many bad sectors.
[13:56] <lordievader> 1617 reallocated with 347 pending.
[13:57] <ducasse> how old is it?
[13:58] <lordievader> Bought in 2015 or so. Bought two of the same model, the other has no issues what so ever.
[14:07] <ducasse> 2015, might still be covered by law or vendor - don't know how that is in holland.
[14:08] <lordievader> WD has a warrenty checker, and through their website you can do RMA too. Might check the place where I bought it, else I'd go directly to WD.
[14:10] <ducasse> usually faster and less trouble to go through the place you bought it, i've used mine for so long they usually don't even ask me to send them the failed one anymore :)
