[10:38] <jbicha> fcitx is just to help people using Asian languages; Ubuntu GNOME inherited it from Ubuntu (Unity) except I tweaked it to not install the Qt stuff
[10:39] <jbicha> Ubuntu GNOME may end up shipping Qt libs in the future so I might drop that tweak to exclude fcitx qt support
