[09:05] Hi, I have a few applications on launchpad but I see that many devs prefer github nowadays. What's a good combination to replace the things we had in launchpad? Github for code, translatehouse.org for internationalization, and readthedocs.io for documentation? === JamesTait is now known as Guest34673 [09:54] alkisg: If your key point is, what's most popular and gets you more contributions, I'd say look at big, successful projects rather than asking for opinions here - what's more usable is less relevant in natural selection === Guest34673 is now known as JamesTait [09:55] I'm trying to, but e.g. systemd hosts a wiki at freedesktop, which I can't do, libreoffice and firefox elsewhere etc etc [09:55] So it would be nice to hear from someone that already searched that [09:58] alkisg: You have half your answer right there. Avoid unique solutions. github + readthedocs are no-brainers as far as I'm concerned. Whether you use github's wiki and issues may depend on what your needs are, but they get the job done [09:59] kalikiana_: thank you, how do you feel about translatehouse.org or transifex.com? [09:59] For translations I'd usually go for Transifex, which lots of translators are familiar with, and which I've used - I've never heard of translatehouse.org until today [10:00] Thank you very much :) [11:30] daker: Did you see https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-sdk-team/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/realLayoutDirectionChange/+merge/318359 btw? Not sure if I showed you the branch [11:31] kalikiana_: i'll test it tonight on 16.04 machine [11:31] Ah, right, you couldn't test anything on the other one [11:31] Cool [11:31] Much appreciated [11:33] i only have a container on this 14.04 machine, i can built it, but not sure how to get the gui on the gallery === _salem is now known as salem_ === JanC_ is now known as JanC === salem_ is now known as _salem
