[19:43] <smoser> it just seems so not really supported, and they very easily could have made the directory named 2014-11-04 or whatever it was.
[19:57] <rharper> smoser: in the past, you mentioned to me that latest was just a pointer, that parsers of the metadata support specific versions/releases of openstack metadata;  latest is a moving target versus the various dated releases
