keesogasawara: hrm, all the configs from ubuntu's 4.8 new defaults seem to be missing. e.g. CONFIG_HARDENED_USERCOPY=y CONFIG_SLAB_FREELIST_RANDOM=y CONFIG_DEBUG_LIST=y CONFIG_DEBUG_CREDENTIALS=y04:02
keesmaybe that kernel doesn't go through the normal config verification?04:02

keesapw: I was looking at the raspi2 kernel -- it seems out of sync with the main kernels17:10
apwkees, oh ... ogasawara ^17:16
ogasawaraapw: it's looking like we may need to do a config review for raspi217:17
* ogasawara cries17:17
ogasawaraapw: but I will talk to ppisati17:18
apwogasawara, i'll make a card17:18
keesit seems like it can just be an arm64 flavor. the config.common.ubuntu is out of sync -- fixing that solved my missing configs17:21
keeser, well, armhf and arm6417:21
keesI'm still using the armhf...17:21
ogra_kees, arm64 on developer boards is insanity (all binaries eat about twice the ram) ... 17:56
keesogra_: only things that are very pointer-heavy. I can easily run servers with less than a gig of RAM, and the raspi3 has a gig. *shrug*19:13
