SooperGeniusIs it possible to apply a prototype to an existing object?  For example, during character creation the player chooses to be a Fighter.  I'd like to apply the Fighter prototype to their Character object.  I see that you can spawn new objects from a prototype. Wondered about existing objects.12:34
akxwi-daveSooperGenius:  you do realise this is the irc channel for The Xubuntu operating system  :-)12:49

xubuntu66wI'm getting an error with sudo apt update14:10
xubuntu66wW: GPG error: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Horst3180/xUbuntu_16.04  Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY14:11
xubuntu66wI actually uninstalled that arc theme that's linked with the error message14:11
xubuntu66wThe repository 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Horst3180/xUbuntu_16.04  Release' is not signed. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.14:11
Picixubuntu66w: you need to remove the repository from your /etc/apt/sources.list or from within one of the files within /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ and then run an apt update14:13
xubuntu66wok14:13
xubuntu66wI figured I have removed everything when I uninstalled it14:13
xubuntu66wThere's a ".list" file in that directory you mentioned14:14
xubuntu66wis that what you're referring to (to be deleted)?14:14
Picixubuntu66w: be sure to check the contents to see that it contains the repository that is listed14:15
xubuntu66wthere's a file named "arc-theme.list"14:15
xubuntu66wnothing else14:15
xubuntu66woh actually it looks like theres a GUI tool for removing the repo - "software and updates"14:17
xubuntu66w@pici: looks like that worked. Thanks. So should all of the remaining files and directories from that theme install be removed from my system now?14:18
Picixubuntu66w: no, you said that you did that already14:19
xubuntu66wwell I ran sudo apt remove arc-theme14:19
xubuntu66wand then sudo apt autoclean14:19
Picithen you're probably fine14:19
xubuntu66wok14:20
xubuntu66wthanks14:20

bonsaitreeI am noticing something interesting after the reinstall of 16.04. While scolling in Google Chrome or while alt+tabing i am noticing a shape similar to this one, appearing in the middle of the screen: http://cosketch.com/Saved/p8yJQJPy18:46

DexterFjust installed xub16.04/64 on my Thinkpad T530. 3 monitors, laptop-19x12-19x12 from docking station. installed nvidia-375 (t530 has nvidia 5400m), works. activated all the composite shebang in settings. now there is one royal oddity: when I right-click in, say, the 3rd monitor, and say "terminal here": the screen in the middle goes black and my mouse pointer is confined to screen 3.21:46
DexterFdoes not happen when I spawn a terminal on screen 1 and drag it over. does NOT happen when I call, say, "settings" from right-click menu - only terminal21:47
DexterFodd, eh?21:47
DexterFit gets even weirder: when I do "sudo bash" on one of the terminals: same thing happens. what on earth des xfce-terminal tell X to do there that jeopardizes it at that level?21:52
DexterFAUGH. Nevermind the above, no strange bug or X or NV issue, I migrated the SSD to another machine and had an arandr script in bashrc...22:06
