[00:25] Hello all, I have a Lubuntu requirements question? [00:26] Since I am not so knowledgeable in processors and memory, would the new 17.04 work on Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M3438G. Thank you for the answer :) [12:39] I have a brand-new installation of lubuntu 16.04. I get an interesting error I cannot solve while reading online. https://pastebin.com/cqp1B2JR [12:39] I'm just trying to install curl and I get the "depends: libcurl3-gnutls (= 7.47.0-lubuntu2)" error. [12:39] I've tried using apt-get and apt. I suppose I could try installing the aptitude command. [13:56] hello there [14:41] Hey guys, what's the default username / password for a lubuntu live system? [16:11] beginner2: usually there is none set [16:12] username should be lubuntu I guess [17:11] lubuntu doesnt work... [17:14] blank / blank doesnt work either [18:04] Hey guys, what's the default username / password for a lubuntu live system? [18:06] beginner2: lubuntu / EMPTY [18:17] Didnt work [18:28] beginner2: tried user ubuntu with empty pw ? [18:29] For some reason it didnt ask me now, that i reinstalled the iso on the usb stick and started it again. So i guess it's solved o.O [18:31] usually the live system does never ask for the pw as there isn't one set and autologin is enabled [18:32] Maybe i pressed a button during the startup or something... [18:32] Thanks guys! [18:38] Different problem: It just wont open firefox. It'll open other applications, just not firefox. Any ideas? [18:43] beginner2: try starting it from terminal to see any error message [18:44] Whats the command? [18:44] firefox [18:44] "bus error (core dumped) [18:44] " [18:48] Maybe it has something to do with my very old usb stick. In any case: Ill try debian live and if that doesnt work ill buy a new usb stick. Thanks guys for helping me with the password/username! Bye [18:48] uff on a clean profile hmm... never seen this on a clean profile [18:49] yeah might be a broken usb stick aswell [18:49] Maybe it's my old usb stick... [18:49] usually bus errors appear on broken firefox profiles [18:49] so broken usb stick which makes ff not read all its files might be really the cause of the issue [18:51] Ok. Thank you. If debian doesnt work, i'll try a different usb stick. Thanks and take care! :)
