[23:31] if you want an easy GUI tool for installing DEB packages/files you can try GDebi [23:31] How do I get that into xubuntu? [23:33] it should be available in the repos, so install it via software center or run in the terminal - sudo apt install gdebi [23:33] installing it now [23:34] or, just run this command to install your DEB package/file - sudo dpkg -i package_name.deb [23:34] will let you know if it works.. I think it will thanks! [23:36] GDebi probably won't be as default to open DEB files, so choose it from the right-click menu on .deb [23:38] It worked very nicely thanks!
