[16:55] hi tim can you try using the terminal (start the terminal and type sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade) and see if you get any errors that way? [16:57] Will try now, thanks. How do I do that? [16:59] (do you have anything else like software updates or synaptic open. if yes, best to close those down too) [16:59] I mean just close the window *is not explaining well ;D* [17:00] OK. Yes the software center is open. [17:00] lol ok [17:00] close that off, before trying to type that [17:01] I got the same error. Shal I reboot and try again? I have a doubt that it is installing itself on the USB pen drive where as I wanted it to install it on my computer. [18:20] It's been more than 5 hours and the install is not completed yet. :( [18:22] Maybe my question should be asked differently. [18:23] If Ubuntu Studio, for whatever reason, is installed on a 32 GB USB 2.0 pen drive, how much time does it take? [18:23] AkiSan: You might be better off in the main #ubuntu channel with this. [18:25] Thanks. I believe I should be able to join that from here.
