How is it possible that systemd-resolved became the default resolver when it doesn't work? Not only does it not work with default, but it doesn't work properly even if you disable DNSSEC. [09:28] It is only possible if the person responsible for the decision did not even run it. Let alone actually run it for days or weeks even with DNSSEC off (which obviously s/he didn't) [09:34] And another thing, how are we supposed to track changes and know when and how things change between releases? systemd-resolved was present even in 16.10 but one could override resolv.conf options with dhclient config. That is no longer the case in 17.04. [09:34] Stuff is just randomly broken, untested and shrugged off. [09:52] fallentree, I take it you have concerns between the gnome 17.04 update ans the present Unity DEnv. Is that correct ? [09:52] **gnome 17.10 update (concerns) ? [09:53] CoderEurope: nope [09:54] Though it wouldn't surprise me at all if tha transition was plonked as well. === not_phunyguy is now known as phunyguy [12:07] Howdy folks === JanC_ is now known as JanC === Mr_0_ is now known as Mr_0 [16:00] hi BluesKaj [16:21] hi immu [16:49] whats up BluesKaj [16:51] brb BluesKaj [16:55] back === ariver|ERR is now known as ariver [18:25] Hi everyone [18:45] pauljw, yes dawg here
