You shouldn't be accepting sites' requests to install extentions. With very few exceptions extentions don't just show up due to other malware or from just visiting a page. You may not remember it, but you have almost certainly clicked "allow" on multiple prompts to install extensions. [23:33] Jordan_U: I never have, and have "noscript", "ad block plus" and "ghostery" installed which supposed to have me in "secure mode browsing" and suppose to block all javascripts, which it does, at least most of the time, but seeing it now has holes that I was not aware of. But frankly I have heard "I'm sure I never installed any extensions" from many users before, almost all of them smart capable people, and have found that to be false most of the times (and never found it to be definitively true). Even moreso given that there are multiple exentsions you didn't intend to install.
