matv1hello I am probably missing the obvious but I cant figure out how to remove a .click app of mine from the Ubuntu store11:03
matv1or is that no longer possible?11:03
matv1if thats meant to work by using https://developer.ubuntu.com/publish/application-states11:04
matv1that gives me a 40411:05
matv1poppey ?11:11
matv1popey i meant11:12
matv1anyone?11:23
matv1mhall119 ?11:24
popeymatv1: https://myapps.developer.ubuntu.com/dev/click-apps/11:33
matv1sure but where is the remove option?11:34
popeynot sure you can. you can make it private11:35
popeythen nobody can see it11:35
matv1popey i saw that. yes. But I couldnt verify for sure that making it private covers all instances11:36
matv1i'd rather just remove it11:37
popeythe store isn't architected to allow users to remove applications completely11:38
popeyyou need to contact a store admin to do that11:38
popeyalso, the broken link I reported here https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/broken-link-in-the-store/103111:38
matv1popey wow11:38
popeyIt has a rational argument11:39
popeybut anyway, that's the answer I believe11:39
matv1I wont debate it ;) I prob wouldnt agree11:40
luxpirwhile I'm here still, and folks are around - anyone got any concrete 'next phone' plans?11:40
matv1okay thanks for your time11:40
popeyluxpir: no plans11:40
popeynp matv111:40
matv1luxpir UBPorts obviously11:41
luxpirpopey: likewise. while it's working in its current state I'm reasonably satisfied. ho hum.11:41
luxpirmatv1: yeah I haven't looked into that at all. what can I expect? I'll open a search for it now...11:41
luxpir(correction, i did look at the homepage a few weeks back, but couldn't figure what the plan was)11:42
luxpirif it's security updates and improvements, I'll happily change repos or whatever needs doing.11:42
luxpirsubbed to mailing list anyway.11:43
matv1The plan is to maintain and expand it. It's a heap of a task but they have enornmous momentum atm11:44
luxpirooh it's based in Norway. nice. A place I quite like!11:44
matv1they just released an OTA1 2 days ago for all 'old' Canonical supported phones11:44
luxpirwell momentum helps. lets see where they can take it. it's a great starting point.11:44
mcphailmatv1: iirc, you can set your apps to "unpublished". That's what i did with mine, i think11:45
matv1mcphail that link is now dead as popey mentioned11:45
luxpirmatv1: OK, I'll have a look into the pros and cons of switching over11:46
mcphailmatv1: ah, ok11:46
luxpirnexus 5 might be a good shout for a new phone anyway, with UBports and copperhead available for it.11:48
matv1luxpir i have a nexus 5 running with ubports now11:49
luxpirmuch diff?11:49
matv1its fast actualy. well compared to most Ubuntu touch phones11:49
luxpirthat's a start.11:50
matv1one glaring bug atm: video recording doesnt work. everything else is good11:50
matv1but i understand a fix is in the works11:50
luxpirwouldn't be critical for me. something to do with non-free codecs?11:50
matv1it's certainly related to codecs as i understand yeah11:51
matv1but i havnt looked closely11:51
luxpirsure. no biggy. thx for info.11:52
matv1if you have questions i would advise joining them on telegram https://t.me/ubports11:52
matv1their community management is oustanding i have to say11:53
luxpirforum looks great11:54
matv1yeah they are doing a great job11:54
luxpirdecisions, decisions...11:56
matv1luxpir haha11:56
matv1gd luck11:56
