I've Xubuntu 17.04 with nvidia gfx card and nvidia proprietary drivers (including utilities, nvidia-settings, nvidia-xconfig, ..., all that came with "apt install nvidia"). When I switch the card into different PCI slot, /etc/X11/xorg.conf gets rewritten on boot. Who rewrites this file? I'm asking, because my "Coolbits" option isn't preserved. [17:31] It's gpu-manager.service from ubuntu-drivers-common. === slickyma1ter is now known as slickymaster [22:45] try to install xubuntu 16.04 and halfway through screen goes dark [22:45] I think graph card fail [22:45] card has popped caps [22:45] I swap out with spare...maybe will work
