[22:01] <xkern> i have a problem related to debugging kernel.
[22:04] <xkern> i downloaded latest stable kernel from kernel.org and i compiled for debugging.
[22:04] <xkern> my ubuntu is on virtual machine.
[22:04] <xkern> my problem is that if i put  breakpoint anywhere, ubuntu gives kernel panic.
[22:05] <xkern> i guess i use qemu rather than virtualbox. any advice for this ? 
[22:05] <xkern> and sorry maybe my english is not clear.
[22:06] <xkern> i spended a lot of time but i have nothing : (
[22:07] <xkern> if you know something , can you help me ?
